As Licensing Manager for the Technology Transfer Office, Eric works with WSU inventors to identify appropriate technology licensing opportunities for life science technologies. Eric has worked in corporate and academic technology-based business development since 1994. His areas of concentration have included research and development, mergers and acquisitions and new product and venture development. He was previously a researcher for Kellogg Corporation in Battle Creek, MI and a business planner for the FMC Corporation in Chicago, IL. Most recently Eric worked as the Incubator Liaison for the Michigan Universities Commercialization Initiative, where he was a dedicated resource assigned to maximizing the effectiveness of university-related life sciences business incubation for Wayne State University, Michigan State University and the Van Andel Research Institute. Eric earned a BS in Food Engineering from Michigan State University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
