Wayne State University was pleased to host Entrepreneur Day 2005, the first-ever entrepreneurship conference. This cutting-edge concept blended entrepreneurs, prospective entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, angel investors and community leaders together to learn the importance of entrepreneurship, and more importantly, how to become an entrepreneur.

The Conference was designed to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship and economic diversity (E2) required for launching start-up businesses and creating jobs that lead to growing and sustaining economic prosperity. The event focus was to provide attendees with new knowledge and skill sets that will enable the creation of start-up companies leading to high tech jobs in the city and state.
